The series centers on a high school choir called the glee club. It featured many young actors and actresses that really came to international recognition through this series.
Glee series was aired in the united state from May 19th, 2009 to March 20th, 2015.
There are many interesting Actors and Actresses that people has came to like.
And today, many people will like to know where these actors and actresses are and what they are doing.
Well, in this part 1 of glee casts, I will be focusing on 10 of them.
Number 10) Cory Monteith –
Cory who played “loverboy” Finn Hudson in the series died of a drug overdose.
His body was found in a hotel room in Vancouver, British Columbia, on the 13th of July 2013.
The autopsy revealed that he died from a toxic combination of heroin and alcohol. Before his death, he was a Canadian actor and singer. He died at the age of 31 years old.
Number 9) Mark Salling –
The glee Serie Badboy, mark, who played the role of Puckerman, was an American actor, went to Los Angeles College of music, and worked as a guitar teacher.
He committed suicide after pleading guilty to child pornography. He was found dead near his home 6 hours after he was reported missing. he died on the 30 of January 2018 at the age of 35.
Number 8) Naya Marie Rivera –
Naya was a model and an American actress who started her career at an early age. She was known for her role in the glee series as Santana.
She was married to Ryan Dorsay for 4 years and they had a son together before their divorce in 2018. On the 8th of July 2020, she was reported missing after she failed to return from a boating excursion on lake Piru near her home.
Her body was found after 5 days in the lake. She was confirmed dead on the 13th of July at the age of 33.
Number 7) Matthew Morrison –
Morrison is a Dancer, Singer, and actor, born on the 30th of October 1978.
He played the role of Will Schuester in Glee. In 2008, he won Screen Actors Guild and Satellite Awards -and Best Actor in a Serie Comedy Musical.
In 2010, he won the TV Land Award, and in 2015, he won Brodway.com Audience Award,
as Favorite Actor in music and favorite onstage Pair, with Laura Michelle Kelly. He got married in 2014 and welcomed his son in 2017.
Morrison was recently on Broadway in Finding Neverland and even earned a Tony nomination for The Light in the Piazza.
He released the first single and music video – Go the distance- first from his album, Disney Dreamin’ With Matthew Morrison, Which came out on March 6th, 2020.
Number 6) Jane Lynch –
An American actress and singer. Born on the 14th of July 1960. Her performance in glee as Sue Sylvester earned her a primetime Emmy Award.
In 2017, portrayed Janet Reno for the Discovery Channel television series, Manhunt: Unabomber.
Also in the same year, she guest-starred in episode 7 of Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
Presently, she co-hosts an American television game show ‘ The Weakest Link’ with Anne Robinson and George Gray.
Number 5) Keven McHale –
Keven is an Actor, singer, and radio personality.
Born on the 14th of June 1988. He came to the limelight with his role as Artis Abrams, in the drama series Glee. From 2011 – 2015, he was the head coach of the Houston Rockets.
And currently, he works as an on-air analyst for NBA TV and Turner Sports popular NBA on TNT studio show.
He is also one of the four hosts of “Sick of My Own Voice” on Dash Radio.
Number 4) Dianna Elise Agron – An Actress, singer, and dancer.
Born on the 30th of April 1986, also came to the limelight with her role as Quinn Fabray, after starring in small musical productions.
She has played in many other top movies after Glee.
Her Awards- 16th Screen Actors Guild Awards, in the glee series. – TV Land Awards, category, Future Classics – American Music Awards, Category, Favorite Soundtrack Album – And many others.
Currently, she is still performing as a singer at the Café Carlyle in New York City, while continuing to star in successful films.
Number 3) Chris Colfer – An Actor, singer, and author.
Full name- Christopher Paul Colfer, is an American actor that gained international recognition for his role in Glee as Kurt Hummel.
Born on the 27th of May 1990. He has won many awards which include Screen Actors Guild Awards, Teen Choice Awards, category,
Male scene Stealer, Golden Globe Awards, category, Best Performance by an actor in a supporting role in a series.
To date, he is still acting and writing.
Number 2) Amber Riley – Amber is an Actress and singer.
Full name, Amber Patrice Riley. She also gained international recognition for her role in glee as Mercedes Jones.
Born on the 15th of February 1986. She has many Awards associated with her career, like, Whatsonstage.com Award for Best Actress in a Musical, Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical, Evening Standard Award for Best Musical Performance, and others.
In 2017 she formed a musical group called “Leading Ladies” and they have an album titled, Songs from the Stage.
On September 4th, 2020, she released a single called ” A Moment” and on the 2nd and 8th of October, she has released 2 other tracks.
So currently she is still active, singing and acting in many other films.
And, Number 1) Lea Michele – An Actress and singer.
Born on the 29th of august, 1986. She came to Limelight playing Rachel Berry in the series Glee.
She has featured in many other movies before Glee.
She has won many awards which include, Teen Choice Award, and a Satelite Award.
Currently, She is still acting and singing. Has released many tracks recently.
